Inlnd Knights - The Bump EP - DROP067

Inland Knights return to Drop Music with an original EP after far too long a wait (almost 2 years!).

The last two years have seen single Knights tracks featured on
Drop samplers and the duo also released their 'Dust Till Dawn: 10 Years of Drop Music' compilation, but now the time is right to get back into the fold with some of that good stuff they've built their reputations on.

So here you'll find some totally new and fresh dance floor goodness in the form of three tracks that sum up the IKs perfectly.  If you don't know who the Inland Knights are...well in their own words they "write house music that's dead good!" Nuff said.

J.A.M.O.N. provides vocals on 'Bite Back' after stellar outings working with the likes of Jake Childs, Luis Ramirez and Tommy Largo for Kolour, Pin Up and Licksamba.  Larry Fives (aka Laurence from Inland Knights) takes it in a new direction.

Our House Mag Review...
Our House Mag

'Reality Check' is a little more electronic sounding than the Knights of old but when the bassline kicks in there's no mistaking that Nottingham duo's classic touch.  'Bite Back' is another electronic tinged workout with added funky horns that really work a treat.  A rapped vocal from JAMON sits in nicely and adds a hook that will send dancefloors wild.  The IKs have rocked such dancefloors for many years and on this evidence show no sign of slowing down. 4/5
