> Prismatic Tracks [PRM015]
Nottingham and San Francisco, two cities with a rich house music heritage, go head to head as Brown, known best for his vocal appearances on songs produced by Inland Knights and Littlemen, teams up with Prismatic label boss Andrew Phelan. The original version of 'Gimme A Beat' is a deep and funky number calling out all the freaks on the dancefloor through it's twisted vocal, while the remixes feature a gritty and groovy tech house mix by Body Rhythm's Ross Couch and a left of centre electro tinged rework by The Fingermonsters.
